The Online PD

Welcome to the online PD!

This blog is designed to help teachers in their search for more effective teaching practices. With so many resources out there teachers often devote much of their time to sorting through stacks of books, articles, webpages and workbook packets. I hope this blog will serve as a clearinghouse of sorts – allowing teachers to find resources well-aligned with particular teacher actions. As a PD I do a lot of research on how to help teachers develop particular skills or fill in knowledge gaps. By sharing what I know with you, I hope to empower you to own your professional development and that you will be able to accelerate through the learning curve more quickly. We have important work to do and you are the key lever to your students’ success in your classroom. Let’s get started!
